Power of 100 Terms of Service
Eligibility
A woman must be alive to be recognized, no posthumous recognition is accepted. The 100 honourees will be selected from 16 in-scope countries as stated on the Nomination Page.
Power of 100 Honourees may be nominated as set forth herein or chosen by Access Bank (‘the Bank’). People submitting nominations (“Nominator(s)”) must be at least thirteen (13) years of age.
At any time, at Access Bank’s discretion, a Nominee may be deemed ineligible for nomination or participation in the Power of 100 recognition program.
Employees, and their immediate family members, of the Bank and its subsidiaries are not eligible to participate in the Power of 100 recognition program.
Nominations
Nominations MUST be submitted online. Mail-in nominations will not be accepted. Nominations may be submitted on behalf of another person. Self-nominations are also accepted. Nominations must be received no later than 11:59:59 PM WAT (GMT +1) on the deadline.
Only nominations completed and submitted in the specified format by the posted deadline will be reviewed by the Bank’s Jury Panel (‘the Panel’).
Nominations may only be submitted in the name of a single person; group nominations are not acceptable. False or deceptive nominations or acts will render a nominee ineligible.
Previous Power of 100 honourees are not eligible to be nominated for this edition of the Award.
The Bank reserves the right to edit the nomination as it sees fit for use in publication or promotion.
By submitting a nomination you agree to grant Access Bank the right without obligation, unless prohibited by law, to use the contents of your nomination, your name, voice, picture and likeness, without compensation, for the purpose of advertising and publicizing all matters related to the Power of 100 program in any medium, throughout the world in perpetuity.
Privacy
Nominees may be contacted to provide additional information and have their information verified. The Bank reserves the right to request and require additional information from nominees in order to have their nomination considered.

Selection
Judging for the Power of 100: The Bank will choose each honouree from all Eligible Nominees and eligible individuals chosen to be profiled by the Bank as Power of 100 honourees. Honourees deemed solely by the Bank to meet the requirements set forth herein may be presented online and on-air for public viewing and will not be subject to voting.
The Panel will be responsible for the selection of the Power of 100 honourees.
Notification and Publication
Some nominees may be notified by phone, email, or postal service and may be required to submit additional information. At the sole discretion of the Bank, honourees may be asked to attend the awards ceremony. If asked to attend the Awards Ceremony, honourees will be responsible for obtaining all proper documentation (e.g., Visa, Passport) prior to travel. Whether or not compensation will be provided for any portion of such travel will be in the Bank’s sole discretion. An honouree may be disqualified at the Bank’s discretion if she chooses not to or is unable to attend the Awards Ceremony.
Honourees to be featured online or on-air may be required to sign an affidavit verifying their eligibility in the Power of 100 recognition program including, but not limited to, liability releases and, except where prohibited by law, use of name and likeness releases (“Release Documents”) and return such documents within seven (7) days of issuance of notification. Execution of the Release Documents will grant Access Bank the right, unless prohibited by law, to use the individuals’ names, voices, likenesses, and any of the material provided by them or about them without compensation, for the purpose of advertising and publicizing the Power of 100 recognition program, all matters related to the Power of 100 recognition program and the Awards Ceremony in any medium, throughout the world in perpetuity.
If at any point an honouree becomes ineligible, chooses not to participate in the Power of 100 program or is disqualified for any reason, the Bank reserves the right to select an alternate honouree.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable laws, the nominees agree that the Bank, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the nomination process or the Power of 100 recognition program.
Event Cancellation
The Bank reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule the recognition event aka “unveiling” for any reason. In such cases, the Bank will make reasonable efforts to notify all parties involved and provide information regarding any new dates or arrangements. The bank shall not be liable for any damages or losses incurred by the nominee as a result of the cancellation, postponement or rescheduling.
Amendments
The Bank reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, without prior notice. Any changes to the Terms will be posted on the website and will be effective immediately upon posting. It is the responsibility of nominators and nominees to review the Terms and Conditions periodically to stay informed of any changes.
